Scope of Works

  • Cabling, trenching and civil works
  • Construction of the transformer sub-station using pre-fabricated tilt panels, fencing and blast walls
  • Construction and installation of foundations and pads for the NER and RMU
  • All associated earthworks
  • Concrete, Firewalls, Plinths, Transformer Bunds and footings
  • Steel Reinforcement
  • Blue metal material for the transformer bund.

Trenching and Cable Laying

Underground service works included:

  • Construction of a 3m wide, 800m trench to supply the new Ore Processing Facility
  • Installation of 22,000m of 11kV cable laid via 8 circuits in trefoil formation
  • Removal of existing dug material and procurement of suitable substitute material to gain required compaction
  • Backfill of trench including concrete culvert installation
